What is haraam?
As I understand it
Haraam things are anything that is harmful to the interests of Islam every evil thing (as defined by Islam).
As well as many actions, jobs, foods, etc. which have been ruled as bad either for Islam or the Muslim person.
Basically anything that is forbidden by Islam.
